Project Description ![]() ![]() |
This project added 13,162 sf of classroom/laboratories to an existing 5,000 sf building. The facility trains students as medical technologists, and provides staff to All Saints Hospital. The program called for additional classrooms and laboratories to accommodate increased enrollment and the increased community requirement for medical technologists. The two-story scheme was chosen to achieve maximum adjacency between classrooms and labs. The addition attaches to the existing building so as to minimize the impact on the existing wall. Construction consisted of a structural steel frame with brick veneer on
steel studs, and a ballasted 4-ply built-up roof. |
