Project Description

This project consisted of a single-story branch library for 90,000 volumes. The facility is equipped with an adult and children’s section, a community room for after-hour functions and is equipped with the latest electronic technology.

The building was sited and designed for patrons to approach the building through a park-like setting. The walkway is constructed of heavy timber framing and capped with a standing seam metal roof. The exterior palette of split-face block and stone was chosen for compatibility with the character of the Fossil Creek area.

The project offers an inviting exterior, a functional interior, and came in under budget.
