Project Description

This project added approximately 142,000 s.f. of office and manufacturing space to an existing building. The office area was designed as a separate building, linked to the existing by an interior courtyard.

The design for the manufacturing area added ten truck docks, additional warehouse space, additional metal fabrications manufacturing space, expanded offices, and the relocation of existing equipment and utilities. This portion of the building also houses a weight room for the use of the employees and the site is fully landscaped.

The building is served with a new fire protection system including a new fire loop, new hydrants and a new pump house.

The office building is constructed with concrete tilt-up panels with a modified bitumen roof. The manufacturing building is clad in metal panels on steel framing and has a single-ply non-ballasted roof.
