Project Description

This project converted an existing auto parts store into a branch office for OmniAmerican Credit Union. After combining several residential and commercial lots, the site was designed to allow multiple traffic patterns and permit a safe and logical flow for vehicles. In addition, a pedestrian plaza was constructed along Highway 51 to display western sculptures.

The client requested a building that would pay tribute to the communities’ history and enhance the commercial landscape. Our response included refacing the existing building from a simple painted cinder block box to a classic frontier style stone and rough sawn cedar fort. The Interior accents draw inspiration from the same rustic sources. This credit union contains: one commercial and six retail drive thru lanes, free standing drive thru ATM, safe deposit vaults, eight teller stations, child friendly lobby, employee break area, and assorted support offices. The entire site and facility were designed to be completely handicapped accessible.
