Project Description

 

 

 

 


 


This single-story branch library, in north Fort Worth, contains approximately 42,000 volumes along with a community room designed for fifty persons. The community room is accessible for after-hour functions and the building is totally accessible to the disabled. There is a large staff work area, a well-lit parking lot and a glazed brick exterior to control graffiti.

Construction features include a suspended foundation, structural steel frame, modified bitumen roofing and rooftop air conditioning equipment.

The project also included interior design, selection and specification of all furnishings, fixtures and equipment.
