| Project Description
|
This was a two-phase master-planned project. Phase I called for conversion of the existing basement to classrooms and offices. The building was redesigned to comply with current handicap accessibility standards, which included new restrooms, ramps, and a wheelchair lift. This phase included a community room with a kitchen, two classrooms, administrative offices and the remodel of the main entrance and reception area. Phase II involved the restoration of the exterior facade and landscaping, and the renovation of the two upper floors with new ceilings and finishes, along with an upgrade of the mechanical system. The exterior work included water-proofing and repainting the building facades, repaving the parking lot, and installing an underground drainage system. The interior work included modifications to existing partitions, new walls, new finishes, new light fixtures, relocation and upgrade of the electrical service, fully accessible restrooms and main entry, a new kitchenette, and new millwork |
