Project Description

Basswood Crossing

This project encompassed a 10.75 acre site consisting of a Winn-Dixie anchor grocery store flanked by a 70' deep local retail shell and two out-parcels. The site accommodates 718 parking spaces.

Our services involved working with the owner's civil engineer and Winn-Dixie representatives to design the site plan. We were responsible for site design, site development for the two out-parcels, designing the grocery store pad, and providing documents for the local retail. We were also responsible for coordinating and selecting exterior materials.

The buildings were constructed of concrete tilt-up panels for the back and sides, and split-face block and storefront for the front. The frame was structural steel and the roof was a single-ply ballasted system.
